Denmark Open Super Series(SS), Satoko SUETSUNA/Miyuki MAEDA grabbed Women’s Doubles crown

This is the first time ever for Japan to win Super Series which is categorized the 2nd highest international tournament after Olympics or World Championships

In the past 2-year, World Ranking No.5  pair well known as ‘Sue-Mae‘ proceeded to SS Final twice, in Japan Open 2009 and Swiss Open 2010, however failed to reach summit either occasions. For this time, they proved their stability and strength through all matches, then beat their compatriot, Shizuka MATSUO/Mami NAITO by the score of 21-17,21-14 in the final

Meanwhile, in Men’s Singles, a local golden boy Jan O.JORGENSEN upset Indonesian star Taufic HIDAYAT in straight games (21-19,21-19) with strong support from home audience
